Hidden Color project is based on a deep knowledge of color perception, color therapy and the effect of color on the emotional and physical state of a person. The influence of color is difficult to overestimate: color is emotion and energy.

The series of paintings forming the Hidden project are interactive: each of the pieces have five sides, each one dedicated to one shade of color. All shades have certain characteristics that affect the human condition. The viewer can choose how closely he wants to touch the color by choosing a vantage point

In this project I take the theme of "chromophobia" in terms of the individual fear of the color due to its direct relationship with emotional evoking, and therefore unwillingness to unconsciously disclose ones inner feelings.

I want to highlight this fear and experiment with the borders of when the color becomes uncomfortable and too personal. This works is about the denial of color as a parts of a denial of ourselves, our character traits, secret and sincere desires, the fear of going to dreams, living your best version of life, rejection of some even external aspects in yourself.

For each individual color evokes memories and forgotten sensations on subconscious level, and through this work I want to entice the viewer to experience color in a comfortable and non-intrusive way. The fronts of my objects are of neutral grey-beige color, that anyone can dwell on without revealing too much about themselves. However, by experiencing the sides of the object, the shadows and color combinations, one can gradually go only the calorific journey, savour one's own emotions, feelings and memories without experiencing the intrusion of a direct color affection.
